January at Hillsboro Intermediate has been a month of focus, growth, and fresh starts. Through our Choose Love program, students have been learning about Forgiveness—understanding how empathy, accountability, and second chances help build a strong school community. In classrooms, students are working hard to prepare for our February benchmarks, with a strong emphasis on becoming confident writers and excellent mathematicians. Teachers and students alike are setting high expectations, practicing perseverance, and showing pride in their learning as we move into the spring semester.
